Beijing's Climate
Beijing has a monsoon-influenced humid continental climate, with long, dry, very cold winters and hot, humid summers. Winter (December to February) is parched, with temperatures often below freezing but little snow; summer (June to August) is hot, occasionally above 35°C, and most of the year's rainfall is concentrated in July and August. Spring is short and windy, sometimes bringing sandstorms blown from the northern deserts, while autumn is the clearest and most comfortable season. This page provides an hourly and 14-day forecast plus detailed metrics including humidity, wind, UV index and air quality (AQI).
