Nam Dinh Climate
Nam Dinh is a coastal province in the southern Red River Delta with a long shoreline and major river mouths, giving it a sea-moderated humid subtropical monsoon climate. Summer (May–September) is hot, humid and rainy, regularly struck by typhoons and depressions from the Gulf of Tonkin that bring heavy rain and storm surge, while winter (November–March) is mild and dry under the northeast monsoon. The annual mean is about 23°C, with summer peaks of 34–36°C and cold snaps to 11–13°C; the Thinh Long and Quat Lam beaches and Xuan Thuy National Park stay breezy.
