Lang Son's Climate
Lang Son is a northeastern border province with a humid subtropical highland climate, well known as one of the coldest places in northern Vietnam in winter. The northeast monsoon sweeps in from November to February, bringing very cold, dry weather, frequent frost on Mau Son peak and even ice when temperatures touch 0°C, while summer from May to September is hot, humid and rainy.
