Bac Kan's Climate
Bac Kan is a landlocked northeastern mountain province with a monsoon climate marked by hot, humid, rainy summers and cold, dry winters. The rainy season from May to September brings frequent showers and thunderstorms and high humidity around Ba Be Lake and the densely forested valleys, while winter from November to February turns cold with heavy morning fog and occasional severe cold spells in the highlands.
