Vancouver's Climate
Set on the Pacific coast and sheltered by mountains, Vancouver has a mild oceanic climate with gentle, wet winters and cool, dry, comfortable summers. From November to March skies are often grey and rain is persistent, making it one of Canada's rainiest cities, yet temperatures seldom fall below freezing so downtown snow is uncommon. Summers (July-August) are pleasant at around 22-25°C with clear skies and soft sunshine.
