Riyadh's Climate
Deep in the Najd plateau at the heart of the Arabian Peninsula, Riyadh has a classic hot desert climate defined by extreme summers and very little rainfall. From May to September, daytime highs routinely exceed 42-45°C in dry, baking air, while winters (December-February) are pleasantly cool with nights that can drop below 10°C. Rain is rare and falls mostly as scattered spring showers that occasionally trigger sudden flash floods, and dust storms can cut visibility with little warning. This page provides an hourly and 14-day forecast along with detailed metrics for humidity, wind, UV and air quality (AQI).
