Quang Tri Climate
Quang Tri is known for one of the harshest climates in central Vietnam, a tropical monsoon type with a sharp contrast between dry and wet seasons. The dry season (March–August) is scorching, as the Laos wind (southwesterly foehn) blows harder here than anywhere else in the country, pushing temperatures to 37–40°C and parching the land; the wet season (September–November) delivers concentrated heavy rain that quickly floods the Thach Han and Ben Hai rivers. Winter (December–February) is cool at 18–22°C with drizzle. This page offers an hourly and 14-day forecast plus detailed metrics including humidity, wind, UV and air quality (AQI).
