Johannesburg Climate
Set on the Highveld plateau at about 1,750m, Johannesburg has a mild subtropical highland climate with Southern Hemisphere seasons. Summers (October–April) are warm at 22–28°C by day and marked by afternoon thunderstorms that deliver most of the year's rain.
