Baku's Climate
Baku sits on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea and has a cold semi-arid climate with low rainfall year-round. Summers (June–September) are hot and dry, typically 28–34°C, while winters (December–February) are mild, rarely freezing but damp and windy. The city's signature feature is its wind – earning it the nickname the "City of Winds" – especially the dry northerly Khazri that blows for much of the year, with rain falling sparsely in autumn and early spring. This page offers an hourly and 14-day forecast plus detailed metrics including humidity, wind, UV index and air quality (AQI).
