Amman Climate
Perched on a plateau at roughly 750–1,000 m elevation, Amman has a semi-arid highland climate with four fairly distinct seasons. Summers (June to September) are hot and dry, with daytime highs of 28–33°C but cool evenings thanks to the altitude and low humidity, while winters (December to February) are cold and damp, bringing rain and occasionally snow when cold fronts move in. Almost all precipitation falls in winter, leaving summers virtually rainless. This page provides an hourly and 14-day forecast along with detailed metrics including humidity, wind, UV index and air quality (AQI).
