Abu Dhabi's Climate
The coastal capital of the UAE on the Persian Gulf, Abu Dhabi has a hot desert climate with extremely harsh summers and the high humidity typical of the Gulf coast. From June to September, daytime highs commonly hit 42-45°C, and sea moisture makes summer nights stifling with very high humidity. Winters (December-February) are dry, sunny and very comfortable, with daytime temperatures around 24-28°C, making them the prime travel season; rain is rare and falls as scattered showers in the cooler months, sometimes with early-morning fog and dust storms. This page provides an hourly and 14-day forecast along with detailed metrics for humidity, wind, UV and air quality (AQI).
